Unique Guest Chats About Sales

Short Sale Power Hour

This brilliant mindset Monday presents another special guest to Short Sale Power Hour. Brian Klemmer, author and owner of a personal growth and development business, will be providing some great content for us today.

Mr. Klemmer is a graduate of West Point Military Academy. He has authored five books including, Compassionate Samurai, which was the number one business book in 2008.

The very first thing to realize regarding sales is that it isn’t as significant what you say as what is behind what you are saying. Most people want to be taught how to sell, how to lose weight, how to gain wealth, but if there is no intention behind it you will fall short. If the intention is apparent, a means to achieve your goal will emerge. To further clarify, if you want something enough, you will ultimately find a means to get it. Whether it is money, weight loss, sales, or something else, you will find a means to achieve it if you have the desire to do so.

If one of the mechanisms that Kevin or Fred have educated on you isn’t effective for you, it is possible that your desire for the results is not high enough. If your only purpose is to put money in your pocket, the client will feel that. So, you need to have the intention to help your customers too. Also important to note is that Mr. Klemmer defines intention as your deepest commitment.

Mr. Klemmer has a recipe that simply states intention equals results. Basically, if you have a business meeting and nothing gets done, it is safe to suppose that your intention was dedicated to something else.

With sales, often times the intention is to communicate information. There is a fine line between selling something and presenting something. If your intent is to sell, then sell. If you merely present information to your possible customers, don’t expect to sell your product.

Intention is your deepest commitment to something. Think about what you are saying before you articulate it the next time you talk to somebody. What is your intention before you talk?
