Things Need To Change In The Short Sale Industry
We are essentially asking for the audience to bring some ideas to the table today. We would like the spectators of Short Sale Power Hour to give us some indication as to what scares you most in the short sale business. Furthermore, what would you love to see altered right now to help the short sale procedure?
Fred would like to see the government put into motion uniform deficiency laws across all 50 states. Someplace, you could find a way to deal with the deficiency language so that realtors know what they are doing for their customers.
Kevin would love to see the assessment process of the short sale become standardized. Basically, everybody should share their figures. If everyone shared the facts, this doesn’t become such a guessing game for most agents. The BPO is a big secret right now, but why is it a huge secret? It would be nice if the bank would share the BPO and the realtor could share his information with the bank as well.
