The Best Source Of Quality MLM Leads Is As Close As Your Newspaper!

Success in Multilevel Marketing required that you always be adding quality team members to your downline. You’ll lose some team members due to attrition, so you always need to be adding better people than the ones you lose.

It’s important to sponsor ever-better team members. Replace the ones you lose through attrition with better team members. And don’t be afraid to recruit people who are more successful than YOU are. The results are far better than recruiting people who’ve never accomplished much.

REALTORS & REAL ESTATE AGENTS!

Here’s why I’m devoting all my MLM prospecting time to Realtors:

1. Professional real estate agents made good money up until a year ago. Home sales are so slow, and their income has plummeted.

2. 90% of them are in a world of financial hurt right now,

3. They’re professionals and they have some sales training.

4. They understand that client development takes TIME, they don’t expect to get rich overnight.

5. Realtors have highly developed people skills and many of them have large lists of people who bought houses in the past few years who NEED TO MAKE MONEY.

6. Perhaps best of all, their pictures and cell phone numbers are listed in the newspaper (hundreds of them!) and they’re arranged semi-geographically, so I know what caliber of clientele they’re working with. I can pick and choose from the ones I think I’d like to work with and having their picture gives me some sense of affinity for them-they’re not faceless names.

“Realtors who’ve been around for a long time know that the 10 years was the best time ever to be in real estate They made hay while the sun was shining, but the sun has set. The smart ones know that it will be years before the market bounces back. And they have bills to pay NOW.”

I can’t give you any conversion rates yet. I started to attack this market too recently to tell you how well it’s working. What I CAN tell you is that when I call Realtors, 7 out of 10 of them are eager to learn more.

The conversation goes something like this:

“I got your number from the paper.”

“My friends in the real estate business tell me that the market is still really slow. Some of them are concerned that it might slow down even more as we get into the holiday season.”

“May I ask you a personal question? (Let them answer.) Are you keeping your mind open to options for replacing your income until the market comes back?”

A few Realtors are doing quite well right now, but the majority will agree that the housing market is VERY slow and it’s tough to make money. Fewer houses are being bought because when people aren’t feeling secure about their future, they tend to “hunker down” and wait until things change.

I’m not looking for large numbers of prospects. Personally, I think the people who promote the importance of getting 1,000 leads per month on the internet are full of BS. I’d much rather have 150 real “touches” with PWAN (“Professionals With A Need”) than 10,000 dingbats who have nothing better to do than ask for free information…but that’s just me.

I’m looking for a handful of self-starters who know how to get things done. If I call 5 per day and do good follow-up work and only get 10% of them to join my team, that will be 15 sales professionals per month. I’m not talking about 15 losers who can’t blow their nose without your help. I’m talking about 15 professional relationship-building marketers.

As a network marketing sponsor, my ONLY job is to make sure my new team members get off to a quick, successful start. I’ve found that I do my best when I limit my number of new team members to five. That allows me to give them the individual attention they need so I can help them with phone calls, training, and other support activities.
