Making A Short Sale Firm

Short Sale Power Hour

We have a special guest on the show today, Eliot Tomaszewski. He is a realtor that we have been friends with for a couple years. He has grown his company from just himself to a team of staff and multiple short sales being closed each month. We wanted to get Eliot to the episode today to share what he has gone through in making his short sale business. He shifted rapidly and now he is positioned for long term success.

Originally Eliot was working with small new home builders and when the market changed several of those builders were holding inventory. That is how he got started in the short sale industry. From there, he became aware of how much he could assist home owners out.

Eliot started from scratch and after he met Group 4610 and talked with them concerning taking this firm to the next level his firm grew. He decided to concentrate on the short sale business and has taken more than 90 short sale listings in just one year. In addition, he did it all by himself.

In order to continue prospecting for leads, he had to acquire a negotiator. He took his time schooling that person and then the firm took off. He has taken his group from only himself to seven or eight people. Eliot has completed forty short sales thus far in 2010. With about 60 listings currently, they would love to get that number up to 100 to 125. The goal is to get about 20 short sales closed per month.

With the proper organization and some concentration on lead generation, you can develop a short sale firm. The patrons are out there.
