Dealing With Short Sale Offers

Either way, you will be a part of that procedure.
We know that when we receive an offer and present it to the bank it will take at least five or six weeks to hear a response from the bank. So, we ask the eventual buyer to provide us six weeks to get that response. On occasion buyers don’t like that, but we show them why it is worth the delay.
After the proposal comes in, we will call you and go over the offer by phone. Then we will send it to you for your signature. Your signature means that you are accepting the offer, but it doesn’t mean that the bank will accept it. We send this to you using an e-signature program. You will get all of the papers online where you can examine them and then carry out your signature. This is the smoothest way to get your house from on the market to under contract.
We will continue to display your house. We think that it is important to get back up offers. If the primary offer is not accepted, we can move on to another offer without losing valuable time.
