Yesterday there was some conversation about some of the more general mistakes that are made in actually finding out who is in charge of your folder at the bank. It is important to know what is going on with your file.
You need to approach the bank from a position of authority. Find out who has your folder and make certain that all of the papers are there, all while figuring out how they run this process. Contact information for the individual or people that are working with your folder is also important. Don’t believe them when they give you a company generated answer about not giving out last names, or phone numbers, or email addresses. Here’s a tip! Every bank has a customary email structure that is used to create email addresses. So, use that structure to contact whoever is dealing with your file.
Tomorrow’s focus will be on something that we call pre-escalating. Basically, thinking with the end in mind, we want to find out the ranking of employees that leads from whoever is handling your file to the CEO. From the handler of your folder to that person’s supervisor, to another manager, carry on this procedure until you get to the highest rung on the corporate ladder.
It is also essential to remind you about the Keller Williams Family Reunion coming up in a little while in New Orleans. Fred and Kevin will be offering some more great content. So, be certain that you find yourself in attendance.
